Student entrance examination for the Graduate Program in Languages and Arts of the State University of Amazonas (PPGLA)
Admission to the Program is held annually and is open to candidates holding a diploma recognized by the appropriate authority, whether Brazilian or foreign. It is granted through a public selection process, subject to the number of available spots as specified in the call for applications.
To apply for the Academic Masters program, candidates must hold an undergraduate degree. Final-year undergraduate students enrolled in a program recognized by the appropriate authority can also apply.
The annual selection notice for admission to the Master's program must be published and indicate the number of available spots, deadlines, application locations, as well as other relevant information for candidates.
Ranking in the Master’s selection process will be based on the scores achieved by candidates who pass the selection process, up to the limit of available spots.
This process includes the evaluation of applicants' résumés (CVs), knowledge exams, at least one foreign language proficiency test, and, where applicable, a portfolio and/or research pre-proposal, as well as an interview.
Selected candidates who do not receive a PASS (APROVADO) on the foreign language proficiency test must take and pass a new exam by the end of their first semester in the program.
The foreign languages allowed for the proficiency exam will be specified in the official selection notice.
